Had to take a few days off after looking like a complete jackass Saturday with my picks and statements. I am surprised our President did not relieve me of my duties. First, I would like to thank Shelby Miller for having a decent outing and that ugly fuck Chacin for throwing a gem and winning the pitching duel against Mad Bum. You both really did me dirty. But hey, the past is the past and today is a new day to BANG…

White Sox v Indians

Both Shields and Corrasco have atrocious numbers not even worth mentioning against their opponents. There really is not much to talk about here. So, lets make a gut decision. I did find it interesting that my research sources are picking the White Sox in this one, but I say the hell with them. The Indians line up is going to be a great challenge for James Shields, who is no James Shields back on the Rays, in the Indians home opener and I just think the Indians are going to put on a show for their crowd. They are raising the AL pennant for the first time since nam over there in Ohio and everyone is going have a hard on over it.

Take Indians -1.5

Reds v Pirates

Taillon is the Pirates young stud and he will be making his second start of the season after an impressive outing. He let up 0 runs in seven innings to the Red Sox in a pitchers duel against Chris Sale. Not to mention, that game was in Boston. Tonight, he will be performing in front of his home crowd where he succeeded greatly last year in 11 starts during his rookie season and posted a 2.86 ERA. The Reds while be throwing out their rookie against the Bucs for his second career start. Last week Rookie Davis (red flag, dudes name is rookie, born a rookie, always a rookie in my book) pitched against the Phillies in the city of brotherly love and gave up four runs in three innings. Luckily for him he got yanked, because things were about to get ugly. He was also ahead of the count with many batters and could not execute. The Bucs have the bats to punish this man. Regardless, young gun, Taillon, will stay in control in this game and lead his team to a W. No way the Pirates lose as a heavy favorite two nights in a row, especially with this kind of match up.

Rangers V Angels

@sean0brien “TheWildCard” wrote a gem piece on this game stating key facts that you need to know. So, I am not going to cover this game. But I will say that I fell in love with this line the moment I saw it and would ask it to marry me if possible. You take Hamels as a dog against the Angels 10 out of 10 times, no question about it. Make sure you check out his post and really do not think too much about it, because it is a lock. See for yourself here: https://seekingcover.com/2017/04/11/angels-vs-rangers-preview-41117/
